Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is due to be sworn in for a new five-year term today, despite the growing alarm over the war in the north.
His Party, Prosperity, scored a landslide win in June elections.
Prosperity won 410 seats in the federal parliament out of 436 where elections were held, according to the National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), which hold another elections in remaining constituencies.
Abiy will also announce his new cabinets today. He is expected to give a ministerial position to at least three opposition party leaders.
