Nile Insurance garners 134 million Br profit in the last fiscal year, according to its latest financial audit report released last week. It is 17 percent up from the preceding financial year.
The firm written a gross premium of 547 million Br in 2020/21, an increase by 14 percent from the preceding financial year. Its claim expenses, meanwhile, grew by six percent, reaching almost a quarter of a billion Br.
One of the pioneers private insurance firm since the liberalization of the sector three decades ago, Nile has an assets of almost two billion Br, while its paid-up capital stands at half a billion Br.
