Prices of oil remain steady around 80 dollars a barrel following the decision of major global economies to supply oil from their reserves to the global market.
Brent crude rose by 5 cents, or 0.06 percent, to 81.29 dollars a barrel ealier today.
A six-week low, the latest price registered following reports of the potential releases of oil by the major global economies, including the US, China, India and the UK in a bid to lower price and address the issue of supply.
